Just want to add my two-penneth on this one. I love the size of the trapper 95 - its a perfect length and allows for real dexterity when using it. The slightly skeletonized tang does not compromise its strength but gives a much better balance than standard tangs (which are not skeletonised or tapered). D2 is a marmite steel in my opinion. Harder than 01 but not as tough. Much more stain resistant due to high Cromium content. You either love it or hate it.

Materials aside - the design is a real pleasure to use.

Saddler.....does this blade have a zero grind or a small secondary?
