I have just purchased an eka w11 of ebay for £56 just to see what it looked like in the flesh.I have to say what an exellent bit of kit this is 4mm 12c stainless it is about the same length as a woodlore knife but has a deeper blade width, it has a 3mm hide leather sheaf with a lanyard attached my only criticism is that the sheath could hold the knife a bit tighter than it does, these knives are about £67 new ,so save yourself a load of money and buy one you will not regret it . :)

I have a W11 that I bought full price. It is a lovely knife which I am turning into a true Scandi grind (will be finished with a Lanski deluxe knife sharpening system at xmas). The knife is truly beautifull but the handle shape isnt perfect although not a real problem. You get a lot of edge for your money.
The sheath is great at first but it isnt that secure in the long run and is a bit too bulky than it needs to be.

I am going to venture into a bit of leather work soon for the same reason.
It is of course a factory made belt sheath so you cant expect too much at the end of the day.

Overall I wish I hadnt bought this knife at all because I have an F1 coming from Santa which is much more versatile for my needs. Because of this I am going to use my W11 as the Guines Pig. An expensive knife for the job but If you dont test these things properly you wont know what they can do. I am going to get it wet, hammer it and generally abuse it just to see what you really can do with this type of knife.

I have put it through its paces already and I must say that the more abuse I give it, the more I like it. And it keeps looking good too.
