Looking for a compact quality canvas Daypack to use for work.
Ideally 1 large compartment with a front pocket. Leather and canvas is essential.
Cash available or I have lots to trade with cash either way.
Cheers, Simon

This Czech army rucksack exists in a thinner and a thicker fabric version.
Both aren't bad, but the heavier one really is made in an outstanding good quality.
Approximately 28 litres or less.
That's the size of a daypack for EDC in town.

This here has perhaps 35 litres.

And that's another smaller one.

The Italian mountain rucksacks are surely also worth to have a look.

The 34 litres BW Jägerrucksack is the best of course.
Compared to Duluth that's approximately like Mercedes an Ford, you know?

OK, the swiss also aren't bad, especially if the shoulder straps go to the D-rings.

Thanks for the links.
I already have one big Duluth pack so I know how good they are. Which is why I want a small one.
I’m specifically not looking for anything military-looking I’m afraid. Hunting/fishing style is fine but I don’t want army surplus.
I’d consider Frost River or something by a smaller artisan maker. I used to have a Craeg canoe pack, which was fabulous, so I am not restricted to brands.

Pretty small, unknown but interesting are the Essl cotton rucksacks.
I think, they are made in Switzerland.

I have a Duluth Rambler if that's of interest?

I've just upgraded my account for classifieds, but I'm not sure of the etiquette of responding to a 'wanted' post.
