Define old? I know the maximum age for the Queens Scout Award is 25 (think Duke of Edinburgh and a bit more), no idea about an older person version.

I've just been told by someone who says she knows: "All activities must be completed by the applicant's 25th birthday".........................

How about alternatives such as Mountain Leadership?

It can be from age 13 if in a group and completed before 25th Birthday, Nothing for older people in the same scheme but other things will be available.

Something I wish I had the opportunity to do when I was a kid

Nothing to stop you "doing it" at any age, it is just that it won't be officially recognised just follow the schedule of activities and feel "chuffed" when you have completed it all.

I was thinking of an alternative way to gain UCAS points.

Mountain leadership...I live in Wiltshire.
