Double Sheath - Double Knives

Those handles truly are gorgeous!

I can't help but think that the knives are quite similar in size and profile - I've seen twin rigs before with a large and a small knife, but not with 2 so close in size - is there a deliberate reason for this, or are the knives subtly different in function in a way I haven't spotted?

Knives look nice but the skulls are a tad cheesy for my simple tastes.

Is there a reason why you need two knives of as near as dammit the same style at any given time?
