Took my American friends for a gentle bimble by the Dore and then up on Merbach Ridge. Hot but we found ways to cool off ...
Del considered tickling a fish ...
But decided a walk under the bridge was easier ...
The walk on the ridge was fantastic, it's good to be high in this heat. The views were great, will upload from their pix later as my battery ran out !!! There was lots of wild thyme in the nature reseve, scenting up the place beautifully. And the fireweed was coming out by the still flowering foxgloves. Nature seems to be cramming it all in.
