Surely as a hobby there is nothing THAT urgently needed that it means going into debt for?

If your struggling for kit then it's worth sticking up a wanted thread as i'm sure folks will be more than willing to help out with their old kit rather than see someone go into debt.

I'm thinking about credit for a large spend item like a Tentipi and stove. At about £1500 quid credit would handy for that item. Lots of other shops offer credit, why not outdoor shops.

One option would be to setup a small personal loan with your bank and use that instead of a credit arrangement, I've done it a few times.

Probably the only option. The only company that comes close is Brookbank canoes. I got my second canoe through them using credit, but alas they don't sell any bushy stuff.
