Do alcohol stoves seal or do you have to carry the fuel in a seperate container?

Depends on the stove trangia burners and tatonka a small amount of fuel can be carried in them but not much two or three brews worth. The fuel is normally carried in a bottle it's supplied in or one designed for liquid fuels. Home made stones fuel is always in a bottle.

For those who like bargains, Fruit Shoot bottles (and pound store equivalents) work well to carry meths in, and make it easy to top up stoves with meths. Not as secure as a proper Trangia fuel bottle, and you use these at your own risk etc etc etc......
