Dc3 - Dc4

What is going to be better for camping style use. A DC3 or DC4 stone?

I've got a DC3 for sharpening my Mora and it's agood thing ... but I'd say a DC4 mighy be better/easier as it's a tad bigger..

I use a DC3, compact and versatile. Next to that I sometimes carry a spiderco dual wetsone.

After making 1:1 scale cardboard cutouts of each one I decided that the small one was too small for my hands and went for the bigger one (DC4?)

Same thoughts here, the DC4 is small enough. The only advantage that I can see to the DC3 is that it can be put in a pouch on your sheath (if fitted). I just carry the DC4 in my bag.

Thats the right choice IMO. I had a DC3 for ages, then saw a DC4 in the flesh and was suprised at how much bigger it actually was, althought it is still very portable and light.
