Custom F1

I have a few of these to make and this is my first time with bone. (smelly stuff).

I used 5/8 mozaik pins and black liners with bleached camel bone scales. Its has an ivory like finnish and i have fallen love with it.

The pins are with brass and copper.

Now for a leather sheath

Two questions:

1) Did you start with a made F1 or a blade blank?
2) Does it fit back in the original sheath?

It certainly is a nice clean white.

Did you file off the little protruding bit/ pommel or is that not on the blank?

(I saw ODC selling some of these before and I resisted one.....I think I'm regretting it now )
