Crusader BCB cooking system mk2

I have just ordered the BCB crusader cooking system mk2 just wondering if anyone else has this and has any thoughts on its performance? Thanks Tom

I was tempted by the mk2 because it can hold a trangia but the fact it's made of aluminium put me off,wanted something I could chuck in a fire if I had too,I associate alu with weakness,that might just be me.

Prefer the Crusader Mug Mk1, Tried and sold the Mk2 Kit. But thats just personal choice and i am a fussy B.....

I watched a vid where the MK 2 was a bit faster on the boil than its predecessor. I reckon it was because there are more air holes in the MK 2 housing?

Conan never used aluminium
