Trailmaster bowie knife for sale ( no trades) knife is about 10 years old carbon v polished blade, brass crossguard and kraton rubber handle, comes with black leather standard sheath . ( I can include a brown leather dangler sheath made by myself for an extra £30).

Rob whats the edge like on this. Is it sharp? Does it stay sharp?

This one hasn't been used, I have a few CS knives in carbon V and they are pretty good with edge retention as long as the grinds aren't th accute, its a work horse not a carver! But you know your stuff John .

I have a trailmaster in carbon V with a custom handle. After a bit of work with a strop and some starkie blue I got it shaving sharp. I would recommend them as a good workhorse of a knife, but I can still feather sticks with mine if the need arrises.
