Closest moon for 15 years tonight

If you fancy your hand at some moon shots tonight, aparently it`s the closest it`s been for 15 years, it should be 14% bigger and up to 30% brighter so could make for some nice shots if it stays clear.

Just looked out ,no chance of seeing it from here tonight ,can't even see th bottom of the garden.

it was quite big last night , dont think we will be seeing it around here tonight though

hmm, was out on the hill the night before last and I thought it looked brighter and bigger than usual. Was unusual in that I could run no prob without a headtorch. That explains it!
Likewise not got a hope of seeing it tonight. Just got in, soaked to the skin.
