I had one of those , but the blade snapped ! Not a major problem for the money , except that it leaves you with out one while you are out . In the end i picked up one from Wilkinsons , it was cheaper still but has a much thicker and stronger blade . If you can put up with it having "Wilko" written all over it , its a much better buy .

I have something very simaler, I have had it for years and have only just replaced it.

Mine was around 7/8 pounds and had a different shaped handle although with the same locking system.

The blade is good but a little flexible but will out cut a Laplander any day, the secret is to allow the blade do the cutting and not force the blade too much.

The blade is used on varying priced saws so think you pay for better handle design and quality on the more expensive ones.
