charcoal, burning, huts & baskets

I've been researching charcoal recently and have come across some interesting links. Some of the structures that were built are applicable to some of the events and activities I expect to be involved in next year. I was particularly looking for willow and hazel structures and details of the cordages used to fasten or adjust either parts of the structure or other equipment commonly used. Straps, ties, leashes, lids that kind of thing.
