Just wondering if anyone can help re: Casstrom Woodsman steel.

There seem to be some in K720, some in Slepnier.

Just curious if this is something that is done in runs and the relatively qualities of each?

Thanks

No - they switched from Bohler K720 steel to Uddeholm Sleipner.

K720 is basically O2, which is close to O1 steel. From my experience with the Lars Falt knife, it quickly takes a patina and will rust when neglected. As far as I understand it: Sleipner, a semi-stainless, goes more towards D2 steel and will rust a bit less when you look at it ;)

Judging from the various reviews and my K720 experience - both steels are good.
