Casio protek setting help

Hi I was wondering if anyone has one of these, I have the 1470 version.
Reason I'm asking is I had a new battery fitted today, and north is out of wack, but I cant get it to adjust (using my garmin gps) I'm wondering if I havent remembered how to set it right (most likely explanation) or is something gone wrong with the watch.

Hi Stephen,
i've got a triple sensor protrek. When you go on to the compass setting, hold the Adjust button down until the screen blanks out then starts flashing (on mine, it is the top left button). Then use the two right hand buttons to go left and right. Make sure you do it in the garden away from any other electro-magnetic sources. When you have the desired setting, use the bottom left button to save it.
