Carved sign

Hello made a sign today from a piece of pine. The pine had blown down in a storm and self cracked so all I needed to do was to cut it off. It is full of resin! Much heavier then normal pine also. Carved it and then filled the carved letters with charcoal. Now it hang under a roof outside facing south. Will be fun to see how it will hold up and change with age . Notice the straight grain and no knots, very good wood!

It's swedish and a combination of the small lakes name and the shelter. Roughly translated it is "gooselakehut" .
