Well said! Would be nice if it all went into an article at some stage. I know there's a thread about "Wood Lore (not Woodlore)" but it's always good to pick up some more tips about things like "it burns well when when green" and to actually see some good photos of the tree we are talking about at the same time.

It's a great way to build your tree ID knowledge, the next best thing to an actually bimble with someone who knows their stuff is a virtual bimble with someone who knows their stuff.

Its great that Red does these, NICE ONE RED. Your right its a great way to ID trees I have a interest in trees because of work but you can still be stumped ( pardon the pun) by a few now and again.
