Swmbo's not well so being unable to get away this Bank Holiday weekend I've got the arts & crafts box out



Made from the finest Wilko Jute twine a fetching little number for the discerning Bushcrafter who thought they had everything and peasants with no shame alike. Spool knitted from over sixty meters of string to produce about seven meters of light duty 'rope' then stitched together with more string. Very warm and not as itchy as you would think.

Should I do another one or cease my crimes against fashion?

Very good I suspect it will shape nicely and be very comfortable.

Interesting; what does it smell like when it's wet, though? Iirc jute twine can get smelly.............. maybe you wouldn't wear it in the wet though.

Do you mind that little basket I made from the Iris leaves, the one I made to use to gather berries ?
Your jute hat would work very well for that kind of thing too.

Could not push the peak out further without something inside to stiffen it but think it looks about right.
