This coming May bank holiday will find me in Brechfa forest again for a couple of days with the intention
of collecting more pine resin and practising a bit of off-trail dead reckoning navigation amongst other things.
Now normally I don't follow any kind of set routine but...
for anybody interested in dropping by then I'll be here at the old quarry
next to the forest access road near the eastern corner of the wind farm on Saturday May 23rd at 11am taking time out
for a much needed brew. If the weather's bad just shout really loudly, I'll be just inside the treeline someplace nearby sheltering under a tarp.
Bring just yourself or bring your gear but above all.. bring some biccies
