Bone needle case

I thought I'd try my hand with this bone and make something out of it. A needle case came to mind. While my first attempt is a bit crude, I can see that with more care and patience one could have a very nice item. A smaller bone could have been used so as to be less bulky but I just liked the look of this so I used it

Here you can see that it has a natural divider

I carved a plug out of birch. A piece of jute or some other natural cordage would be more fitting but for now I just used what I had on hand

Yes, it's from a whitetail deer.

No, it's natural. I just thought it would work good for that purpose.
