Finally finished and dryed, soaking in oil at the mo.
The handle ended up a bit off centre but comes in handy when holding in the left hand.

Going off to finish my spoon now, cheers for looking.

Cheers, Some of the finishing with the SAK, the rest with a small sami knife, spoon gauge, axe and cheated a bit with a bit and brace to start off the bowl :D

Bit and brace hey, now theres an idea. I just carved the bowl on my first Kuksa out of seasoned chestnut. You might call it cheating a bit, but I wish I'd used a one, I might not have such blistered hands

That's great - and it's a beautiful bit of wood too. I reminds me my burr alder one is soaking in oil at the moment and I meant to fish it out to see what it looked like before I came into work. I'll have to wait until I get home now.
