hi guys, im abut to buy a new billy can as my old one is pretty battered, i wanna try and find some new recipes to try out too. any good suggestions erring on the side of simplicity and low budget. any recipes that involve just foraged/trapped food is even better. i mostly cook for just myself if that helps cheers

I agree. Any decent cookbook that lists stews -- you add some more water and then the carb source (rice, pasta, quinoia...) at the appropriate point).

Natural stuff... well, that is all abour what you have. Fish poached in water or stock? Some wild greens cooked down in water/stock? A rabbit parted out and boiled with wild onions? Aspen cambium boiled as noodles? Rose hips boiled into a mush or soup? Caribou tounge and liver boiled?
