Any old stuff will do just going to melt it down and stiffen leather. I can clean it myself really

Well, without being snide...try a beekeeper. My mate beekeeps and when he found I used the stuff in soap gave me about 20lbs cast in slabs. Still had bits of bee in mind you!

Try your local bee keepers club - some have barrel loads (seriously). I cast huge amounts into candles (smelled yummy too)

Failing that you can get bags of 500g or so of pellets quite cheaply on e-bay for soap and candle making
