Has anyone actually made a axe carrier or used one?

These are a couple I made some years ago for belt carry, but to be honest I usually have them on or in a small pack.

A quick google came up with these two, nice but I think they may be impractical.

I bought an RM axe and saw carrier off Fleabay. It's a nice bit of kit but needs the saw to fill it. The shoulder strap is just a piece of paracord with a small leather 'pad'.

Got one from bilmo? Blimbo? (Anyone?) Off here a few years ago.
It's a nice thing but turned out a bit of a novelty and I never use it
