Nice work.

I have always wanted to try one of those but knowing my luck id just take my eye out.

I nearly took the missus eye out once but her nose decided to take one for the team instead.

Here's a quick survival atlatl I knocked up the other week.

Nice work... tell us about your darts.

Hi David.

I made two darts from wooden dowel and three from bamboo. All five were six feet in length. I fletched the darts with large feathers using artificial sinew. I never used any glue for this I just pulled the sinew back through on its self. I then sleeved a bigger piece of bamboo over the rear of the dart to take the spur of the Atlatl. The arrow heads I ordered on ebay.
