Our group of 3 (BareThrills, Imagedude and Myself) that will be heading off to northern Norway this February would like to invite another 1 to 2 capable people to join our team to make our group 4-5 in number.
Dates are Feb 3rd-18th 2014.
The trip will leave from Karasjok in Finnmark to spend 10-11 days hauling sleds and camping in some the most uninhabited and remote parts of Norway. We'll be visiting the vast Finnmark plateau and the surrounding stunningly beautiful boreal forest in its winter clothes. This will be a serious trip into the backcountry, on skis or snowshoes.
Previous extreme cold and arctic living experience, a good level of fitness, the right kit and the ability to work in a team is absolutely essential.
To be clear; this is not a BCUK organized trip.
It's a group of like-minded people meeting up in the arctic on a non commercial basis for an adventure. Every person is ultimately responsible for themselves but we will work as a unit to ease admin and maximise safety.
