Managed to squeeze in a few trips 'out and about' this easter. Was based at Morvech, Glen Shiel. I would not reccommend doing the journey to Applecross, just to see Montys hoose. We were there for the peninusla not for the 'Monty beach'. It's spoilt by the complex 200yds away. Not really remote at all.

The Glenelg to Kylerhea ferry is worth the tenner, great wee experience, help yourself to coffee in the Lighthouse if waiting for the ferry, then when it arrives it's a turntable ferry, the only one in the UK. http://www.skyeferry.co.uk/

Kylerhea Otter Haven was excellent. As you sit in a hide a few hundred feet above the shore watching the otters fish and swim.

Succoth Caves

Took my nephew around the Succoth caves, great wee trip irespective of the weather.
