anyone been watching the village?

It was mostly filmed around here, not having tv I have not seen it but just found it's on iplayer so might try and catch up, is it any good other than for spotting places I know?

I watched the first episode and to be honest it didn't grab me enough to want to watch the rest of it.

Same - it was all a bit "Its grim oop North" with a side order of "Cider with Rosie" for my taste - one episode was enough
