Another ID Question

Stumbled over this, this afternoon, anyone know who owns it.

The nest was built on a fallen tree trunk only six inches off the ground

I tend to keep away from any nests so not to disturb the birds, so I am not up on egg ID, but after a quick google, I would agree with blackbirds... Tis an unusual place for them to nest though, they normally like to nest in plenty of cover and off the ground...

I really like that shot in post #9 Staghound. It's actually a pity you have posted it here as the Countryfile photo comp this year is on animals in action and although it appears she is just sitting she is actually doing quite a bit by turning the eggs, watching for predators, ensuring that all the eggs are equally heated among I'm sure many other jobs.
