I have a board for the Game of Ur the original of which was excavated at the site of the city of UR in Mesopotamia.
No one is certain of the rules but a playable version has been worked out. I had it at a Bronze Age event and it was played with clay pieces made by me. It was a nice complement to performances of Mesopotamian songs accompanied by a reproduction of the Golden Harp of Ur in the organiser's roundhouse.
To assist players I made a small clay tablet with cuneiform instructions but people preferred the paper version in English
