Amsteel or similar

Where can I get quite alot of amsteel or similar for a good price?

DD Hammocks are the cheapest I can find for genuine Amsteel here: http://www.ddhammocks.com/product/amsteelblue

A good alternative is 1.75mm or 2.2mm Zing-It Which is used by tree surgeons here: http://www.frjonesandson.co.uk/prod...ags-lines-cubes/samson-zing-it-throwline-55m/

Thanks for that dave. That son it look reasonably price. Might try it. I need quite a lot of it so 55m is good.

Dyneema D12 is the same stuff. I bought mine from sailingmad.com

What diameter was that Spandit.
Is the zing it as strong as amsteel.

I see they're only doing the 6mm which is way too big.

Amsteel Blue is a trade name of Dyneema D12. ZingIt isn't as strong - not really suitable for whoopie slings.

I bought 3mm stuff before. You can get it for a reasonable price on eBay. What's it for?

Well basically I need a on length of it to go at the end of the hammock chairs. It doesn't need to be a whoopie sling. Just one length.
