Aluminium roof flashing

Where can I get aluminium roof flashing?

I'm intending building a wind shield based on the Caldera cone, to fit an Alpkit pot



But, like this so it fits in the pot..

Problem is you only want a very small peice, best bet would be to try a local roofer for some off cuts.
I presume this is only a windshield and not also acting as a support for a pot as flashing may be too weak to support the weight.

Just watched the video certainly well thought out and fits that one pot the design also gives it good strength.

I meant to stop by to check,

But I believe (from my googling research) It comes in 20 m lengths, IF they sell it, ( my searching reveals U.S. based places)

All I find is flue pipe cowls and rolls of tape, one or two metal suppliers but they're a nightmare to order from unless you have a degree in chemistry.

I think the flashing they get in the US is around 0.4mm so it's not far off.

Postage is a bit steep but I think I'm going to get the 1000mm x 250mm and see how it goes

Just wander in to your local scrap yard. They will surely have something suitable in there.

Try a local fabrication firm, they may have off cuts or will know who in your area will have.

I ended up buying a genuine caldera cone and titan kettle from ebay late one night
