Aldi Bench Grinder

Hi All,

Anyone have one of the aldi bench grinder/sanding platform combos ? - any use for grinding/sharpening lathe tools/ gauges etc etc ?

I have one (as have a load of us over on BB) and inital trials seem good. I havn't had the chance to try it in anger yet, I'm intending on making a knife or 2 and thus using it to grind bevels etc (what the BB crowd are after too)

for the price it is a great buy and with some decent sanding belts I have high hopes. I will probably be changing the grinder for a polishing mop though
