Does anyone know if acorn weevils are edible?

I can't say I actually know for sure about weevils but I was once told that if it crawls, walks, swims or flies....it can be eaten....or at least part of it

I guess I refer back to my previous statement where I'd been told you can eat some part of just about everything walking, crawling, flying and swimming....lol....who would have thought it, google really does know everything!!!!!
