Aberystwyth/Snowdonia

[whats wrong with you all]

this coming September i may well be going to Aberystwyth University, just down from Snowdonia national park..which is nice

i was wondering if there was anyone nearby, or if any meets happened in Snowdonia national park?

I head that way quite a lot from South Wales. Went to Uni at Aber myself. There are great places to go in Snowdonia obviously but also very close around the Aber area there are equally great places....

20 mins inland you have the Plunlumon range - great walking
1hour south and you are in Pembs
Several of us in Pembs.....

haha isnt it just i think the idea is you study better because there's nothing else to do in Aberystwyth

Outside Aber however, lots of lovely forest

If you're going to uni there, then you have got to read the "Aberystwyth" novels of Malcolm Pryce - Raymond Chandler on laver bread!

Go inland, Elan Valley, Rhayader area, its beautiful there and not far from Aber. My folks had a farmhouse near Llanilar for years so I've many fond memories of the area.
