Hi has anyone been in contact with alan a lately or have you an email addy for him please failing that is there any masters of the Scandi grind who would like to give my woodlore a bit of tlc tia mark

Dave Budd is not a fan of the Scandi grind, but he does a good sharpening job.

What exactly needs doing? Is it just a sharpen, or a full re-grind?

Will do. As said, he is now working at engraving, full time day job and a long list of DIY home projects. I have trouble even imagining him having any time to sit at a computer forum surfing these days!
