Will the Trangia fuel bottle hold petrol without any effect on the bottle or the fuel?

Yes it will. Chemically speaking, ethanol is more aggressive than petrol. Pet bottles will also hold petrol. Cheaper than trangia bottles, just remember to mark it well.

I know when I drink ethanol, I become more aggressive than when I drink petrol.

i don't know what the bottle is made from, but if its PE then you'll get some permeation of fuel through the bottle walls.

Yes they will, I store parafinn, meths and Coleman/naptha in Trangia bottles without problem plus the safety pourer is excellent They are well made, strong and worth buying, they are one item of kit I won't try and save money on
