went in the hardware store for a machete, I had my mind on one of those Silverline ones like I showed you some months back.
They were out of stock. (they sell well) but out of the coupboard behind the counter they got this.
told me it was a millitary one from the 50s, the last they had. they got a job lot in an MOD clearout, but most went for scrap, as they were worth more for the metal than as machetes!!!
its a Martindale with the crocodile logo on, which is a well known make.
no sheath, and as you can see is a bit of a mess, but even at the price of two Silverlines, I think I got a bargain.
