So it started like this. :yuck:

The handle fetl far too short for the blade and despite the finger grooves ( :yuck: ) felt like it wanted to fall out of the hand all the time.

So, a bit of chopping down of the tang to make it a stick tang, add a bit of Cocobolo, some hessian sacking and a bit of Bog Oak.....

The Bog Oak was wire brushed to pull out the softer fibres.
