I was invited by Mike aka Harvestman to come and visit his local turf. Upon entering the County I was shocked to see the difference in the variety in trees between our valley's, it felt like another world compared to the spruce plantations of the South Wales valley.
It was a amazing day the weather was kind the sights great and Mike was like a tour guide. We ended the day in Mike's place of work Cefn Ilu which is a wood carvers dream, hope you enjoy the slideshow as there were to many photos to post.
Thanks again to Mike for the haul of wood and the day out, Victoria did not complain too much about me bringing more wood into the house.
