Suspected as being for solar...

Part No; FV 546 133
CT No; CSP2B9/126

Know anything about them? What they are for?

So...do they have a civvy use?

I have two, in there boxes, never been used or even had acid in them.

I would like to see them put to use rather than recycled.

I suspect such things are not cheap to buy...I want to take my Dad to the Swanky pub for his birthday, sort of thing.

How long has it been discharged?

Oh! You posted :)
They might work if they were filled. How old are they?

Are they these? If so, very robust standard 12v military vehicle battery (fitted to everything from Scorpion to Main Battle Tanks). Wide operating temperature range. However, as they are similar capacity to a standard 12v battery, and they are big and heavy, they are really only of value to someone who owns military vehicles.

As I said, never used.
Sadly, that's not relevant if they haven't been regularly given a top up charge- even gel batteries become toast without maintenance. It might be worth trying to find somebody with a good battery charger with a desulphation mode, otherwise they're worth what a scrapyard will give you.

They have no acid in - stored well they should be fine.
