Kind of and it was a bit of a balancing act .

It would be better if it was made out of stainless.

I've had this one lit around 20 times usually with charcoal now and again with twigs/wood and once or twice with fircones and it's not showing any signs of burning through.

I blew the holes in with a small oxy/acetylene torch
