4th attempt of a Spoon

After my day out with Kepis and Hugo, and getting some tips on carving, and starting one whilst i was there, i thought i should try and finish it!
I think it is Sycamore?, But kepis will confirm i'm sure!

This is how my 4th spoon attempt turned out:-

Thanks guys!, and yes Kepis, Fridays project! It had no leaves on the wood so i was having a stab in the dark!.

Good looking spoon there rockmonkey.
Whilst cutting out the bowl on one of mine that I roughed out with you guys, I painted it RED along with my apron and work bench, It is a nice claret colour.
Message to myself must try harder.

Claret red and untreated wood do not mix well my friend!
Not try harder, Just more carefully!.

Some of mine tend to get a bit complex and confused.
Simplicity is the way to go.
