Can anyone recommend a cheap supplier of good quality nylon webbing tape to make slings out of?

£175 for 100m is a bit beyond my budget.

I've used this for life lines strung along the deck of my boat...Can't remember what the breaking strain is but I'm sure it will support even the most enthusiastic pie eater in a hammock..

If you are after real climbing webbing then £1.60-£1.70 per meter is about as cheap as you will get it. But apart from beeing expensive it's also heavy and bulky. This is what I'm using for my hammocks, non stretching and rated to 750kg. They have more options as well on that website.
