20l cookng oil drums

if anyone has a use for the 20l cooking oil drums you see out back or pubs and take aways I got about 20 going free.

The womble in me refuses to take them to the recycling place as "I'm sure there is use for them".

I'll happily deliver with in a sensible distance of Bradford.

I don't personally have a use for them at the moment (as I have some a little closer to home) but I'm sure they could be employed to make charcoal for forges, braziers etc., if they are big enough.

I use 55 gallon drums, cut in half, for boiling down maple sap into syrup and sugar. Best to make sure they were originally used for food - rather than petroleum products.

definately for food use - I get them form the village pub when I use their oil to run my car on.


I'd considered a charcaol burner and a smoker. 3 or 4 stacked would make a pretty good cold smoker
