Well 8 years and a few months on from when I first joined the forum I've come to a momentous point in my membership where I've reached 20,000 posts!
Some folks may mutter to themselves that I must talk too much and have way too much time on my hands and if truth be told I'd agree. But putting the yacking too much aside I have to say my time with the forum has been one of really enjoyment both reading and contributing to it. It's enable me to meet such a wide variety of people, and I'm lucky enough to say that some of the people I've met have come to be very good friends with me.
Anyway, to commemorate this occasion I'm going to have a simple competition. The prize is one of my mystery bag of bushcrafty items
All you need to do is guess how far apart as the crow flies are the locations of where these 2 pictures were taken. As you can see I was in one and I took the other one. To help you out a bit the locations of the two pictures are A. both within the UK and B. south of Birmingham and east of Swindon so that rules out a fair bit of the UK
The competition will run until I'm back from the moot so the winner will be announced on the 14th August
In the event of a tie for closest guess then the person who guessed BELOW the actual total will be the winner
