Well after a long time in the making and the previous one getting butchered at the hand of an angle grinder this I my first, almost complete, knife.

Made from 4mm 01 steel it still needs the holes drilling, heat treating (which I'm not looking forward to), and handling.

The shape was drawn on the steel and shaped with a bench grinder then the knife grinds have been done by hand using a file. I also gave it a go at some basic filework, I don't think its bad to say its my first attempt. I've coloured the filework in with a Sharpie just to help show it

Comments welcome

Nice work, great first one. Don't worry about heat treat its very easy with a BBQ, hair dryer and a domestic oven.
