Are there any new books on the market worth reading? Any bushcraft or survival manuals that aren't just a rehash of a rehash of some 1940's military survival guide? Or, and I'm more hopeful here, any books about wilderness living, doesn't need to be a manual, in fact a good true left story...

It's better than the USA one... Fitted to a poncho it has a small overlap to stop cold spots... Reason I say that is I use mine Ranger roll style as a light weight sleep system in summer (can be damp due to body convection) in the morning. Warmth wise I'd say it's equal or just slightly cooler...

I have a m95, had it at 20 years and it's still going strong. Personally I would happily trade or bin all my other knives except that one as I believe, if ****, that would be the one knife I could stake my life on.
